The day of…

Corvettes, Oreo’s, breadsticks and tons of people! Jacob and Alexis are active members at their home church of Northfield in Gallatin, serving constantly in the kids ministry there. It was a true honor DJing for such an amazing couple. These are two people who seriously love each other, and watching that love blossom into a marriage made June 1st, 2019 one heck of a day.

The Ceremony

Although I only provided sound, I did hear quite a bit about the ceremony. At the bottom of this blog is a link to the awesome video that Chase Lyons did for their wedding that really highlights how beautiful the ceremony was. Seeing Jacob’s genuine reaction to his soon to be wife walking down the aisle was the highlight in my opinion and showed just how much affection was there for Alexis (who looked amazing of course!) The Ceremony was performed by Trent Forrest, the Student Minister at Northfield Church.

The Reception

The reception took place inside the student building at Northfield Church. A challenging setup because of the stage but we made it work. Being on the stage allowed me to stay close to the dance floor and close to the party. The first dance song for Jacob and Alexis was performed by Jon Harris on acoustic guitar and Kristin Looney (sister of the groom) on vocals. A beautiful tribute from a family member and a good friend.

The Dancing

There was so many people at this wedding…over 200 to be exact. Alexis told me in their first planning meeting “I just want to dance”. That’s what was important to her and that’s what we focused on! I knew with Alexis being a performance dancer herself that it was important on song selection. Thanks to her awesome bridesmaids we were able to get some really awesome music going the whole night and I can’t think of a moment where Alexis wasn’t on the floor wearing it out, even Jacob made it out there more than expected! Conclusion

An awesome night. Surrounded by awesome friends and family and church family. You could feel the love in the room from start to finish and I cannot wait to see their family grow. It was also great working with amazing photographers and videographers who really knew what they were doing and put out some amazing work!
